One wounded as shooting occurs in Kharkiv cafe, - National Police
The police are establishing the identity of a man who opened fire at a cafe in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kharkiv.
Censor.NET reports citing the National Police in the Kharkiv region press service.One of the cafe visitors is reported to have received a non-penetrating wound to the chest. Early findings show that an unknown person used a traumatic weapon.
"Gunfire by an unidentified person at a cafe on Ludwig Svoboda Avenue was reported to the Shevchenkivskyi police department of Kharkiv at around 00:10 a.m. on April 24. The police arrived at the address to question eyewitnesses and examine the scene," the message says.
The condition of the 23-year-old victim is assessed as satisfactory.
A related single crime log entry has been made.
Police are establishing the identity of the shooter.
