Ukraine among top five global butter exporters, - PM Hroisman

Ukraine has been named among the top five largest suppliers of butter globally in Q1 of 2017.
Ukraine's Prime Minister Volodymyr Hroisman wrote on his Facebook page, Censor.NET reports.The top exporting country for butter is New Zealand with 151,800 tons of butter, second and third are EU countries (44,400 tons) and Belarus (17,500 tons). The U.S. was named the fourth largest butter exporter in the world (6,000 tons).
Ukraine exported 3,470 tons of butter in the first quarter of this year.
"Unlike the rest of the large players on the market who cut their exports in 2016, we are growing stronger in terms of our trading capacity. The export of butter has almost tripled since 2014," Hroisman said.
