"We’ll leave for Russia, except that we’ll take our territories with us," – Opposition bloc MP Balytskyi to Korchynskyi’s proposal
As reported by Censor.NET referring to UNIAN, Balytskyi was elected the people's deputy at a Melitopol constituency in the government-controlled Zaporizhia region. Balytskyi made this statement while debating with Dmytro Korchynskyi on air of 112 Ukraine TV channel.
"I want you, all the members of your faction, all those who support you to leave for the Russian Federation as soon as possible and never come back again," Korchynskyi told the lawmaker.
"Maybe we will leave, or maybe we won't. I mean those constituencies similar to the one I represent, except that we'll take our territories with us. Doesn't this bother you at all?" Balytskyi said in response.
It is worth mentioning that Balytskyi is one of the deputies who supported the 'draconian laws' back on Jan. 16, 2014.
Korchynskyi is a Ukrainian public figure, leader of Bratstvo (Brotherhood - Ed.) NGO , and also a former leader of the ultra-nationalist UNA-UNSO party.
