Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk arrived in Prague to participate in the Conference of Speakers of the European Union Parliaments.
This is stated in his post on Facebook, reports Censor.NЕТ.
"Prague. These days I am on a working visit to the Czech Republic. I will participate in the Conference of Speakers of the EU Parliaments. I will have a number of bilateral meetings with the heads of parliaments, focusing on Ukraine, countering Russian aggression, our path to full EU membership and our Euro-Atlantic future!" the post reads.
Stefanchuk has already met with the Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, Miloš Vystřil. The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada thanked the Czech Republic for its consistent support of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
He reminded that by the decree of the President of Ukraine, the Chairman of the Senate of the Czech Republic was awarded the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise, II degree. "It is a great honor for me to present this award to a respected colleague and a true friend of Ukraine," he emphasized.
