Yanukovych Bought Two Villas in Crimea. PHOTOS

The state sold two historic buildings in Simeiz to companies affiliated with President Viktor Yanukovych.

As the article notes, in 2006 the Liga-M 2006 and Force 2006 through the courts forced the Crimean Property Fund to conclude lease agreements for villas Cameo and Miro Mare which housed the Ministry of Social Policy health resort.

The owners of these companies were Kyiv's Tehnopromservis LLC and resident of Sebastopol Denys Varochkin.

In turn, among the founders of the Tehnopromservis are British Navimax Ventures Limited and Iryna Schinovich. "According to the register of legal entities, Schinovich heads the primary organization of Mezhyhiria union which was turned into a personal paradise of the incumbent President," says the article.

Later, the lease was terminated, and the villas returned to state resort. However, as reported by the Ministry of Social Policy, in 2012, Cameo and Miro Mare villas had been sold, "since that property was not used for its intended purpose."

The villas were acquired by Ukrainian Building Company LLC and Demetra LLC in 2011.

"The founders of the first are a resident of Sebastopol, Yurii Romanov and offshore company Osprey International Solutions Limited from the British Virgin Islands. Second company is owned by another resident of Sebastopol - Leonid Glagovskyy and offshore company Pastern Holdings Ltd from the same islands," says in the article.
