The Joint Task Force of the Ukrainian Army and the SSU detained 10 soldiers of the 331-st regiment of the 98th Svirsk Airborne Division of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (m/u 71211, stationed in Ivanovo) near the village of Dzerkalne of the Amvrosiivka district of the Donetsk region.

It is reported by Censor.NET with the reference to UNIAN.

The detainees witnessed that a batallion of paratroopers was redeployed to the Rostov region (Russian Federation) on Aug. 23 by rail, and at about 3 a.m. on Aug. 24, the division was alerted and ordered to carry out a march in a convoy of several dozen airborne combat vehicles. Only the officer command were informed that the Russian military equipment would invade the territory of Ukraine.
