Members of the 57th separate motorized infantry brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces captured a militant who had his passport issued in the Belgorod Oblast of the Russian Federation.

Censor.NET reports citing the statement by 57th brigade.

"The servicemen of 57th brigade captured a member of illegal armed group who turned out to be a citizen of the Russian Federation. This incident reconfirmed operational excellence of the brigade’s personnel, the ability to bring their tasks to successful conclusion and once again demonstrated to the global community who is fighting in the ranks of the illegal armed groups in the so-called "civil war" ongoing in Ukraine’s east," the statement reads.
