Mutual Silence Mode Gradually Being Established in ATO Area - NSDC. MAP
The National Security Council notes the gradual bilateral ceasefire in the east of Ukraine.
This was announced today at a briefing of the NSDC spokesman Andrii Lysenko, Censor.NET reports.
"We can state that gradually a mutual silence mode is settling in," he said at a briefing on Friday.
According to Lysenko, there were 6 attacks on ATO forces in 24 hours with the use of small arms. No MLRS or cannons were used.
"The use of small arms by the terrorists was recorded in the area of Maiorske, Horlivka, around Pisky and Shchastia. Our troops in the Donetsk airport were twice provoked by the militants who opened fire from grenade launchers. In all these cases, the Ukrainian soldiers exercised restraint and did not respond to provocations," Lysenko said.
