The recruits have left for the ATO area in the Donbas to defend Ukraine from Russian terrorists and mercenaries.

This is stated by the press service of the regiment, Censor.NET reports.

"There were many obstacles, but we found a way out of the situation, and our new soldiers are already in the ATO area," the statement reads.

Before heading off to the Donbas, the recruits uttered a prayer in which they swore to defend their motherland without fear of death.

"It was nice to see numerous tear-eyed passers-by wishing luck and victory to our soldiers. Having such people Ukraine is invincible!" Azov regiment notes.
