Corresponding decision was announced by judge Olesia Batrin, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrainian News.
The judge noted that she elected such measure of restraint for Yefremov due to the fact that he may try to leave Ukraine and hide from the investigation. In addition, the judge increased the amount of bail proposed by the prosecutor's office from 2,464 to 3,000 minimum wages, that is up to 3,654,000 hryvnia.
Yefremov was detained by law enforcement officers in Kyiv on Feb. 14. The Prosecutor's Office suspects him of illegally promoting the adoption of "dictatorial" laws of Jan. 16, 2014.
