The president has met with servicemen from the 92nd separate mechanized brigade of the operative command “East” of the Land Forces of Ukraine who detained Russian servicemen Yevhen Yerofeyev and Alexander Aleksandrov in a battle near Shchastya on May 16 during his working visit to the Donetsk region.
Petro Poroshenko has presented high state awards to the servicemen during his working visit to the Donetsk region, Censor.NET reports citing the president's press office.
The president has held a meeting with the ATO commanders in the ATO headquarters in Kramatorsk. The head of state has noted the expertise of еру servicemen - new Ukrainian strategic and tactical thought was grown from the operations held by the headquarters. "A style of troops' management has been developed," the president said
"I know that you are not rear-end generals and officers. Many of you had to directly participate in the organization and holding of combat operations. You deserved respect of your soldiers," Petro Poroshenko noted.
