Russians fired almost 50 shells overnight in Dnipropetrovsk region. PHOTOS

On the night of December 6, the Russian occupiers shelled the Nikopol district of the Dnipropetrovsk region.

This was announced by the head of Dnipropetrovsk RMA Valentin Reznichenko, Censor.NET informs.

"The Russians kept the communities of Nikopol, Chervonohryhoriv and Marhanets under the sights of their heavy artillery all night. Almost 50 shells landed in peaceful towns and villages. It passed without any deaths or injuries," he wrote in a telegram.

Reznichenko spoke about the consequences of the shelling:

  • in Nikopol more than 10 private houses, farm buildings, gas pipelines, and power lines were damaged.
  • In the Chervonohryhoriv community, the power line that fed the pumping station of the local water supply was cut off. More than 9,000 families from several villages and towns were left without water. Energy workers have already started work.
  • Private houses and a gas pipeline were damaged in the Marhanets community.

"In the rest of the districts, the night was free of alarms and emergency situations, and for the moment it is calm," added the head of the RMA.
