The Russian military shelled a village in the Kharkiv region, an investigation has been launched.

Under the procedural leadership of the Kupiansk District Prosecutor's Office of the Kharkiv Region, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with intentional murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, on December 24, around 8:00 a.m., the occupiers fired artillery at the village of Podoly, Kupiansk district.
"The projectile hit a private house. A man died, and his wife was injured," the report says.
Prosecutors, together with the investigators of the Kupiansk State Police in the Kharkiv region, documented the consequences and collected material evidence.
