During his visit to St. Michael’s Golden-Domed Monastery, US President Joe Biden met with the leadership of the OCU. Metropolitan Epifaniy blessed the American President and the entire American nation.

The statement reads: "On February 20, 2023, the President of the United States of America visited Kyiv on a solidarity visit.
As part of the visit, US President Joseph Biden and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited St. Michael's Golden-Domed Cathedral, where they were met by His Beatitude Metropolitan Epifaniy of Kyiv and the entire Ukraine.
The Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine thanked Joseph Biden for the support that he, the people and the government of America provide to Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression. In the conversation, Mr. Biden recalled his previous visit to Kyiv and a visit to St. Michael's Monastery, as well as a meeting with Bishop Epifaniy in Washington in September 2018.
At the end of the visit, the Primate of the OCU wished the President and the people of America God's blessing."
