Ukraine is preparing an amphibious assault force to cross the Dnipro. The AFU intends to use kayaks.
As reported by Censor.NET with reference to UNIAN, a source informed Bild about this.
As noted, the source confirmed that in recent days, special forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have already landed on the left bank of the Dnipro River in several places.
The publication found out that the Armed Forces of Ukraine intend to use small operational special units on kayaks to cross the Dnipro. Since January, Ukraine has been purchasing special equipment and engaging experts for this purpose. One of the trainers is a German citizen. He said he had trained about 40 Ukrainian soldiers.
The publication has obtained photos from a training camp where Ukrainian special forces are taught to paddle kayaks and land in full combat gear.
Kayaks are best suited for stealthily approaching enemy positions on the opposite bank: they are silent and small, and difficult to see at night. They are coated with a special coating.
