Consequences of enemy missile attacks on Zaporizhzhia. PHOTOS
On 3 May 2023, at around 01:25 am, the Russian military launched two missile strikes on Zaporizhzhia from S-300 air defence systems.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the press centre of the Prosecutor General's Office.
As noted, private houses and outbuildings were partially destroyed as a result of enemy shelling in the residential sector. The explosive wave and shrapnel damaged cars. Information about the wounded is being clarified.
It is also reported that on May 2, 2023, at 3:30 p.m., during another enemy attack, a Russian missile hit an open area of one of the city's districts.
Under the procedural leadership of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation was started in criminal proceedings on the facts of violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
Pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings is carried out by investigators of the SSU Department in the Zaporizhzhia region.
As reported, on 3 May, the occupiers attacked civilian infrastructure in Zaporizhzhia twice at night. As a result of the night shelling of Zaporizhzhia, a power line was damaged and 70 households were cut off from electricity.
It was also reported that during the day, Russians shelled 16 settlements in Zaporizhzhia.
