The police are documenting the consequences of shelling by the Russian army in the Kherson region.

As noted, the massive armed attacks of the Russian army were directed against the civilian population and infrastructure facilities in the Kherson region. The Russian military fired rocket launchers, artillery, mortars, tanks, aircraft, and UAVs at populated areas of the Beryslavs and Kherson districts.
As a result of enemy aggression, two medical institutions, a gas station, houses, cars, and road surfaces were damaged. The Russian military carried out an air strike with guided bombs on the village of Kizomys, no casualties or damage were recorded.
A 72-year-old local resident was seriously injured during the enemy shelling of summer cottages in the Dariivka district. A man with a mine-explosive injury, gunshot shrapnel wounds to the abdomen, head, and spine was taken to the hospital, unfortunately, it was not possible to save his life.
"The occupiers attacked the regional center continuously, aimed at the residential sector, administrative buildings, and places of possible concentration of people, to cause as much material damage as possible and cause casualties among civilians. The neighborhoods of Korabelny, KhBK, Severny, Tavriysky, coastal and suburban settlements were under attack. In high-rise buildings, windows were broken and balconies gutted, in private houses, roofs were damaged by projectiles and facades were cut," the message reads.
Over the past day, the police responded to 292 statements and reports from citizens about criminal offenses and other events. 18 criminal proceedings have been opened on the facts of war crimes committed by the Russian occupiers in the Kherson region.
As noted, last night the occupiers again attacked the territory of Ukraine using drones and missiles. According to the Air Force, during the night attack, 16 enemy UAVs and 3 Kalibr cruise missiles were destroyed. The KCMA reported that air defense forces destroyed all air targets moving in the direction of Kyiv.
It was also reported that in the morning of May 19, between 4:00 and 5:00 a.m., the occupiers attacked the Lviv region with "Shaheds". Later it became known that 5 "Shaheds" were destroyed in the Lviv region, there are no casualties or destruction were recorded.
Censor.NET wrote that several explosions rang out in Kryvy Rih at night. The Russian occupiers hit a private industrial enterprise.
