On 26 May, at around 02:45, the Russian military carried out a large-scale drone attack on the town of Izium.

According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office

"According to preliminary data, these were 12 Iranian Shahed UAVs disguised as Russian Geranium and Geranium-2," the statement said.

As a result of hostile strikes on the town, the lyceum building, and commercial enterprises were damaged, and the school was completely destroyed. Civilian houses and private cars were also damaged.
