This morning, the occupants shelled residential areas of Kherson. The enemy artillery struck civilian objects - houses, a kindergarten, an educational institution and a service station.

This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional State Administration Oleksandr Prokudin on Telegram, Censor.NET reports.

According to preliminary information, a 27-year-old man died as a result of the shelling.

An ambulance crew on its way to help the residents of Kherson also came under enemy fire. The medical workers were not injured.

Under the procedural supervision of the Kherson District Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation was initiated into the violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 2 Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the Office of the Prosecutor General, on 20 June 2023, at around 11:00 a.m., the occupiers from the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region fired mortars at the regional center. The shelling continues.

Priority measures are being taken to record the crime committed by the army of the aggressor country.
