German Finance Minister Christian Lindner stressed further support for Ukraine in its fight against the Russian occupiers.

This was reported by the Ministry of Finance of Germany on Monday, Censor.NET reports.

In Kyiv, Lindner met with Ukrainian Defence Minister Oleksiy Reznikov and Ukrainian military personnel who were being trained to operate German IRIS-T air defence systems.

"During his talks with Defence Minister Oleksiy Reznikov, Deputy Defence Minister Andriy Shevchenko and soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Minister Lindner stressed that the Ukrainian people can continue to count on Germany's support in their fight for freedom," the statement said.
