"Together with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, we visited one of the energy facilities. We got acquainted with the progress of preparations for the heating season and the work on infrastructure protection. This is one of the key tasks facing all responsible agencies," said Shmyhal.
He also discussed with Blinken the possibility of cooperation with American companies.
"We presented specific projects for investment and joint implementation. We are working on the restoration and development of power plants affected by Russian shelling. The United States is among the leaders in coordinating energy assistance to Ukraine in the G7+ format. Together we are preparing for the difficult winter period," said Shmyhal.
He also thanked the power engineers for their resilience and professionalism.
