On 18 September 2023, at 07:30, the Russian occupation forces shelled the village of Pivnichne in the city of Toretsk, Donetsk region, possibly with artillery.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the press centre of the Prosecutor General's Office.
As noted, a man riding a bicycle was killed by an enemy shell. Another local resident was on the street at the time of the attack and sustained a shrapnel wound to the chest.
"At 11:45 a.m., the Russian military launched an air strike on Avdiivka. A woman died as a result of a shell hitting a private house in the yard," the statement said.
The shelling destroyed private houses and damaged a car in the settlements.
Prosecutors are taking all possible and appropriate measures to record the war crimes of the Russian Federation against the civilian population of Donetsk region.
