Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu visited an exhibition of the Aerospace Forces of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in Tehran, which showcased the products of the Iranian military-industrial complex.
This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defence, Censor.NET reports.
"During the demonstration, Sergei Shoigu got acquainted with missile weapons, unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as air defence equipment made in Iran," the statement said.
The Russian ministry noted that the exhibition features new models of Iranian unmanned aerial vehicles and missile weapons in service with the country's aerospace forces. In particular, tactical missile systems, as well as long- and medium-range ballistic missiles are demonstrated. In addition, it is claimed that the exposition includes "trophy UAVs of American production".
A Russian delegation led by Shoigu arrived in Tehran for talks with Iran's military leadership on 19 September.
