Lawyers of the fugitive former Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovych said their client had agreed to testify in his case.
According to the lawyers, they have a relevant notarized document, where Yanukovych has put his signature, Censor.NET reports citing TSN. According to the document, Yanukovych intends to testify via videoconferencing.
At present, the Court of Appeal is hearing an appeal filed by the lawyers of Yanukovych, because, according to them, the criminal case against Yanukovych is not justified. The PGO intends to serve Yanukovych and his "family" with a suspicion of treason and abuse of power.
