During his visit to Davos, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Luxembourg’s Prime Minister Luc Frieden, who took office in November. They discussed, among other things, the confiscation of frozen Russian assets.

Zelenskyy said this on the social network X, Censor.NET reports.

Zelenskyy thanked Frieden for Luxembourg's support, in particular, on Ukraine's path to the EU and for the decision to allocate 50 billion euros to Ukraine.

"I informed him about the situation at the front and Ukraine's priority defence needs. We discussed further cooperation, including financial assistance to Ukraine, the confiscation of frozen Russian assets and the 'Peace Formula'," he said.

Zelenskyy and Frieden noted the successful holding of the fourth meeting of the Peace Formula advisers in Davos. The Ukrainian president invited Luxembourg to contribute to the preparations for the Global Peace Summit.
