Journalists paid tribute to Georgy Gongadze in Kyiv’s downtown
More than 200 journalists and activists held a moment of silence in memory of journalist Georgy Gongadze, who was murdered in 2000, and another 64 killed representatives of media.

The activists have laid the journalist's abbreviation and the number 64 out of candles on the Maidan at 7:45 p.m. Kyiv time.
The participants of the event have listed the names of all the journalists who died as a result of their professional activities.
In addition, the police arrested a drunk man, who yelled out obscenities violating public order on the Maidan at 7:45 p.m.
