US successfully tested new hypersonic missile. PHOTO
The US Department of Defence announced a successful test of a hypersonic missile by the US Army in cooperation with the Navy.
This was reported by the Pentagon press service, Censor.NET reports.
"The US Army's Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technology Directorate, in cooperation with the US Navy, recently successfully conducted a comprehensive test of a hypersonic missile with a non-nuclear warhead from the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida," the statement said.
This is the second successful test conducted this year.
