On the night of 8 January 2025, Russian troops shelled the Nikopol district twice - they hit the Marhanets and Pokrovsk districts in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
This was reported by the head of the Dnipro Regional State Administration Serhii Lysak on Telegram, Censor.NET reports.
According to him, the enemy was targeting the region with Grad multiple rocket launchers and heavy artillery.
Consequences of an enemy attack
According to the RMA, 2 private houses and an outbuilding were damaged.
Lysak also informs that he also attacked the Synelnykove district.
"The damage caused by the enemy is currently being clarified. There were no casualties," the statement said.
In the morning, a unit of the Vostok military group destroyed an enemy UAV, probably a Shahed, in the sky over Dnipro region.
Earlier it was reported that on 7 January the enemy carried out more than 20 attacks on Nikopol district of Dnipropetrovs'k region using various types of weapons.
