Ukrainian Armed Forces record 261 combat engagements in frontline over last day, most enemy attacks repelled in ’Pokrovsk sector - General Staff. MAP
In total, 261 combat engagements were recorded in the frontline yesterday, 15 February 2025.

Strikes on the territory of Ukraine
According to the updated information, yesterday the enemy conducted 59 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, dropping 88 drones. In addition, it conducted over four thousand attacks, 211 of which were from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 1,385 kamikaze drones to attack.
The aggressor carried out air strikes, in particular in the areas of Ivolzhanske, Kiyanytsia, Dovha Balka, Krasne Pershe, Nova Balka, Pokrovsk, Oleksiivka, Rozlyv, Huliaypole, Zaliznychne, Verkhnya Tersa, and Kopani.
Strikes against the enemy
Over the past day, the aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Defence Forces struck six areas of concentration of occupant's personnel, weapons and military equipment.
It is also recalled that, in total, the losses of Russian invaders amounted to 1730 people over the past day. Ukrainian soldiers also neutralised five tanks, 84 armoured combat vehicles, 11 artillery systems, 36 operational and tactical UAVs, 77 vehicles and two units of special equipment of the occupiers.
Situation in the Kharkiv region
As noted, in the Kharkiv sector, the enemy stormed the positions of our troops five times in the areas of Vovchansk, Tykhe and in the direction of Kozacha Lopan.
Defence forces repelled enemy assaults near Dvorichna, Petropavlivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Kolisnykivka, Lozova and in the direction of Novooosynove in the Kupiansk sector, where 39 occupants' attacks took place over the day.
Situation in the East
According to the General Staff, the enemy attacked 27 times in the Liman sector yesterday. They tried to penetrate our defences near the settlements of Zelenyi Hai, Novoyehorivka, Hrekivka, Kolodyazi, Yampolivka, Terny, Torske and Dibrova.
Ten enemy attacks were repelled by Ukrainian defenders in the Siverskyi sector, while the occupants tried to advance in the areas of Verkhnekamianske and Ivano-Dariivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the occupants attacked 29 times in the areas of Predtechyne, Stupochky, Bila Hora, and Chasiv Yar.
Nineteen attacks were made by the enemy in the Toretsk sector in the vicinity of Toretsk, Diliyivka, and Krymske.
"In the Pokrovsk sector, our defenders stopped 71 aggressor attacks in the areas of Zelene Pole, Tarasivka, Vodiane Druhe, Myroliubivka, Yelizavetivka, Promin, Lysivka, Dachenske, Shevchenko, Pishchane, Kotlyne, Nadiivka, Andriivka and Udachne," the statement said.
Situation in the South
The General Staff also informs that the Defence Forces repelled 25 enemy attacks in the Novopavlivka sector. The occupants tried to advance near the settlements of Zelenivka, Rozlyv, Novyi Komar, Novosilka, and Velyka Novosilka.
In the Orikhiv sector, the invaders attacked our defenders' positions twice in the direction of Novoandriivka.
The Russians made eight unsuccessful attempts to advance in the Prydniprovske sector.
In the Huliaypillia sector, the invaders did not conduct any active offensive.
Situation in the North
"Over the last day, 15 combat engagements took place in the Kursk sector, the enemy conducted 33 air strikes, dropping 49 guided bombs, and fired 332 artillery shells, including 11 from multiple launch rocket systems," the General Staff said.
No signs of enemy offensive groups forming in the Volyn and Polissia sectors were observed.
Our soldiers inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces and actively undermine the enemy's offensive potential in the rear.
