On 12 March, a Russian missile strike on the city of Kryvyi Rih damaged one of the service centers of the Main Department of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in the Dnipro region. 4 employees were injured and are being treated.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine.
"The building of the service center suffered significant damage: the facade was damaged, windows and doors were smashed, parts of the internal structures collapsed, and staircases were partially destroyed. The shelling also set fire to part of the premises and outbuildings," the statement said.
Currently, services at this branch are temporarily suspended. Citizens can be received and serviced at other service centers in Kryvyi Rih and the Kryvyi Rih region.
"To resolve issues related to pensions, subsidies and benefits, insurance payments, citizens can contact any service centres of the Pension Fund of Ukraine, by calling the Fund's Contact Centre at 0 800 503 753, or online - through the web portal of electronic services of the Pension Fund of Ukraine(https://portal.pfu.gov.ua/)," the agency added.
According to the Ministry, this is not the first time that enemy missiles have hit the service centers of the Pension Fund of Ukraine. During the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation, the Fund's premises in the Donetsk, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kyiv regions and the city of Kyiv were damaged or destroyed.
At least 36 of the Foundation's premises were damaged or destroyed, 24 of which were restored.
Earlier, Censor.NET reported that on the morning of 12 March, a series of explosions occurred in Kryvyi Rih: the enemy attacked the city with rockets, hitting an infrastructure facility, killing a woman, injuring 15 people, 5 of them seriously.
