In Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region, Russians killed a 70-year-old woman by shelling the city with heavy artillery.
This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration Serhii Lysak on his Telegram channel, Censor.NET reports.
As noted, she died on the spot.
"An 11-year-old girl was injured. She was taken to hospital. A religious institution, 2 private houses, and a power line were damaged," the statement said.

At 18.30 Lysak wrote: "According to the updated data, two children were injured in the shelling of Nikopol.
One is an 11-year-old girl and the other is a three-year-old. The condition of both patients is assessed as moderate. They were sent to a medical facility in Dnipro for further treatment."
In addition, a 57-year-old woman was wounded in another attack on the city. She will recover at home.
According to Lysak, in total, the Russian army attacked Nikopol district almost a dozen times. They used artillery and UAVs.
The district center, Marhanets, Chervonohryhorivka, Pokrovske and Myrove communities were affected.
In addition to the religious institution, 5 private houses, 2 outbuildings, 15 solar panels, and a car were damaged. A power line was hit.
Stable water supply was restored in Synelnykove, Pavlohrad, Pershotravensk and Ternivka. The interruptions were caused by an enemy attack. We are grateful to the specialists who promptly fixed the problem.
