Zelensky said this in his Telegram channel, Censor.NET reports.
According to him, during the meeting, they discussed the situation at the front and cooperation with partners on security guarantees for Ukraine.
During the conversation, Zelenskyy identified key tasks:
The Minister of Defence should immediately form a team that will engage with partners on all the details of the security system Ukraine needs and implement decisions made at the military and political level. This week, the team is to take part in a meeting of military representatives in London.
To the Chief of the General Staff - to speed up the formation of the corps system in our Defence Forces and to conduct an audit of the current needs of combat brigades. We need to provide the brigades with maximum support to ensure the stability of our positions both at the front and in diplomatic work.
"Strengthening the army is a constant priority, and there can be no steps backwards in this matter. The defence and security forces of Ukraine, the defence industry and multi-level cooperation with partners are the basis of our independence," Zelenskyy added.
Earlier it was reported that Zelenskyy had appointed Major General Andrii Hnatov as Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
