An armoured vehicle has been found that could have been carrying four missing American soldiers who had arrived for training in Lithuania and disappeared near the border with Belarus.
This is reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Lithuania, Censor.NET informs.
As noted, the armoured vehicle was found in the swamp and was able to be retrieved 6 days after the reports of the military's disappearance. Lithuanian police and US investigators are currently working at the site.
Lithuania and the United States agreed that the US side would be the first to provide information about what happened to the soldiers.

As a reminder, four US servicemen went missing in Lithuania during an exercise. Search and rescue operations are currently underway.
Earlier, the media reported that the soldiers were most likely killed.
Lithuania's Minister of National Defence Dovile Šakalina went to the training ground near Pabrade, where four American soldiers went missing.
