An official's car exploded in the Dnipropetrovsk region, injuring him and his wife.

This was reported by the regional police, Censor.NET informs.

"Law enforcement received a report of the explosion at around 07:40 today. The driver of the car, a local official, and his wife were injured.

The First Deputy Head of the National Police - Head of the Main Investigation Department Maksym Tsutskirizde, police officers, the Security Service of Ukraine and the Prosecutor's Office arrived at the scene. The issue of legal qualification is being resolved. We are establishing all the circumstances of the incident," the statement said.

Sources reported that it was the head of the Left Bank City Administration of Dnipro, Fedko Yurii Mykhailovych.
