Krivyi Rih bids farewell to five victims of Russian attack. PHOTO

Today, on 7 April 2025, Kryvyi Rih, in the Dnipropetrovsk region of Ukraine, they bid farewell to five citizens who died as a result of a Russian missile attack on the city on 4 April. They are Herman Tripolets, Victoriia Holovko, Alina Kutsenko, Danylo Nikitskyi and Radyslav Yatsko.

As noted, at 12 o'clock in the Transfiguration Cathedral, 9-year-old Herman Tripolets was bid farewell. The boy was injured as a result of a hit to a playground - according to his godmother Inna, he was on a swing at the time of the explosion. He was taken to a medical facility, but died in hospital a few hours later. He had been shot in the head.

Inna added: "Herman loved life incredibly. He was friendly, non-confrontational, practiced karate and swimming and was fond of Lego.

"Just Sunshine. He always liked everything. He used to say: "Mummy, Daddy, I love my life so much. I like everything so much. You are my best parents. I am so lucky to be with you, to be here. We talked to him like an adult, you know," said the boy's godmother.

"Herman was a very long-awaited child, a desirable one. To lose such a child... Very sincere. Very decent. He loved his parents, he loved his grandparents. He loved us all. He was just a kind child. And now, I don't think there are even children like him. He respected everyone very much," said Iryna, a family friend.

Russian missile attack on Kryvyi Rih

Earlier, Censor.NET reported that on 4 April, the occupiers attacked Kryvyi Rih. So far, 18 people have been killed, including 9 children, and more than 60 injured. There will be three days of mourning in Kryvyi Rih due to the Russian missile strike. According to the Office of the Prosecutor General, the search and rescue operation at the site of the Russian missile attack on Kryvyi Rih has been completed.
