Russian strike on Kryvyi Rih: 16 killed, including six children, over 40 injured, youngest is 3 months old. PHOTOS (updated)
Today, on 4 April, Russian troops attacked Kryvyi Rih.
This was announced by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military District Administration Serhii Lysak, Censor.NET reports.
"The enemy struck Kryvyi Rih. We are clarifying the details. More information will follow. Please stay in safe places until the air raid alert is lifted," he wrote.
In turn, the head of the Defence Council of Kryvyi Rih, Oleksandr Vilkul, reported a missile attack.
"Everyone is working. Further strikes are possible. Stay safe," the statement said.

Later, Vilkul said that 12 people were killed and more than 50 were injured.
In turn, Lysak said that two children were among the 12 people killed.
"Twelve people have been killed in Kryvyi Rih, including two children. The number of injured is being verified. Fires have broken out in the city. Apartment buildings have been damaged," the official said in a statement.
According to updated information, three children were among the dead.
In addition, the number of injured is constantly increasing. This information will be made public later. A car and garages are on fire.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that as of now, 14 people have been killed, including 6 children.
Later, Lysak said that more than 30 people are in medical institutions due to injuries after the Russian attack. The youngest victim is only 3 months old.
"Doctors are now fighting for every life. Many of the injured are in surgery. Preliminary, there are more than 30 people in medical institutions. There are children among those injured. The youngest is 3 months old. The boy has cut wounds. He has been treated. He will recover at home," the official said.
Later, Lysak provided the first data on the damage in Kryvyi Rih as a result of the Russian strike.
"About two dozen high-rise buildings, more than thirty cars, educational and catering facilities were destroyed," the official said.
All emergency services are currently operating at the scene. Psychologists are providing support to those affected. A humanitarian headquarters has been deployed. The rescue operation in the city is ongoing.

As of 9:55 p.m., 16 people have been reported dead.
"16 lives lost. 6 of them are children. There are no words. This is the pain you wouldn't wish on your worst enemy. My condolences to the families and friends," Lysak wrote.
"At the moment, there are more than 40 victims of the enemy strike in Kryvyi Rih," the official specified the number of victims.
