Today, on 9 April, Russian troops shelled Shyroka Balka in the Kherson region, resulting in one death and several injuries. The village of Dudchany was also attacked.

This was announced by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin, Censor.NET reports.

Thus, at around 08:30, the Russians attacked Shyroka Balka. An enemy shell hit a residential building.

"This strike ended the life of a man born in 1943. My condolences to the family and friends of the deceased," the statement said.

The head of the JMA also noted that, according to preliminary data, two more people were injured. The information is being clarified.

Later, the Kherson Regional Military Administration confirmed the information about the victims. It is noted that a woman born in 1948 and a man born in 1974 sustained explosive injuries and contusions as a result of Russian artillery shelling of Shyroka Balka.

In addition, at around nine in the morning, Russians attacked a civilian car with a drone in the village of Dudchany.

The vehicle was destroyed as a result of the attack. There was no information on casualties.
