President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko took part in the oath taking ceremony by the students of military schools on the island of Khortytsia in Zaporizhia.

Censor.NET reports citing presidential press service.

"400 cadets swore allegiance to the Ukrainian people on Khortytsia Island. I believe that the future valiant officers will be worthy of the valor of our ancestors: from the warriors of the ancient Rus-Ukraine to the heroes of ATO in the east. Worthy of all those fighting and sacrificing their lives for the homeland."
