In evening, Russian UAVs attacked infrastructure facilities in Chernihiv region. PHOTOS

On the evening of 5 November, Russian Geran strike drones attacked an energy facility in a border community in the Chernihiv district.

According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the head of the Regional Military Administration, Viacheslav Chaus.

The strike caused a fire at the site of impact, which was quickly extinguished. Energy services are working to restore the damaged infrastructure.

In the Nizhyn district, the enemy struck transport infrastructure facilities.

"In the Chernihiv region, strikes were carried out in areas important for maintaining communication with northern Ukraine," said Oleksii Kuleba, Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine, in a telegram.

In the Koriukivka district, debris from an enemy drone damaged a residential building and a car.

On Wednesday night, Russian forces again attacked the region with strike UAVs, particularly in the direction of Chernihiv. No direct hits on the city were recorded.
