Lithuania sends military instructors to train Ukrainian troops. PHOTOS
Lithuanian Grand Duke Algirdas Mechanized Infantry Battalion instructors will be arranging combat training for Ukrainian mechanized infantry.
As reported by Lithuania's Ministry of National Defense, 15 soldiers assigned to the said battalion will assist in training units of Ukraine's Armed Forces at Yavoriv training ground (Lviv region), Censor.NET informs citing zn.ua.
When in Ukraine, officers and sergeants from Algirdas Battalion will join the U.S.-led Joint Multinational Training Group-Ukraine while Canada and the United Kingdom are among other countries contributing to the program.
Lithuanian military instructors will be arranging combat training for Ukrainian mechanized infantry, courses for staff personnel, and live-fire training events alongside U.S. troops.
