During his visit to Istanbul (Turkey) at the invitation of Mayor Kadir Topbash, Head of the Odesa Regional State Administration Mikheil Saakashvili discussed the possibility of presenting the investment potential of the Ukrainian region to Turkey's businesses.

"At the invitation of the mayor of Istanbul, I visited Turkey. Mayor Kadir Topbas showed me future city projects. We also discussed the improvement of the Istanbul Park adjacent to the Potiomkin Stairs in Odesa. The Istanbul municipality is ready to cover all costs to turn the Istanbul Park into a very beautiful and comfortable place," Saakashvili wrote.

"We also agreed on bringing a large group of Turkish businessmen to the park's opening ceremony to discuss possible investment projects in the Odesa region, and at the end of January, we will hold a presentation in Istanbul dedicated to Odesa investment opportunities," the region governor said.
