Russian aviation struck residential area on Damascus outskirts. PHOTOS+VIDEO

On Wednesday, Dec. 30, Russian military aircraft attacked the city of Douma in Damascus province, controlled by the moderate opposition.

As reported by Censor.NET citing ZN.UA, the city was bombed four times over the day.

The town is populated by a large number of civilians, including refugees who came from the areas with ongoing fighting. The published video and photos evidence of serious destruction in the city, damaged infrastructure.

There is a large number of victims in Douma, including children. The precise number is being specified. As reported, three children have been successfully removed from the rubble.
