The rally to honor the feat of the Ukrainian heroes who courageously defended the Donetsk International Airport named after Sergei Prokofiev took place at the Boryspil International Airport today, Jan. 21.
Censor.NET reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
The invited Cyborgs, ATO participants, and passengers in the terminal "D" enjoyed musical act performed by the combined military orchestra of the Kyiv garrison under the slogan: "Heroes do not die: Glory to Heroes!"
A total of 284 military musicians took part in the performance.
Orchestral conductor Colonel Volodymyr Dashkovskyi told the audience that musicians were also going to honor the Cyborgs at the airports of Lviv, Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, Kharkiv, and Ivano-Frankivsk as well as in the cities of Chernihiv and Vinnytsia.

"Our main goal is to let Ukrainians know their heroes, honor those important dates dictated by the modern history. We are very happy that you are here with us today, proud of our Cyborgs, who have been writing the history of the Ukrainian Feat every single day. Heroes do not die!" Colonel Volodymyr Dashkovskyi said.
The presentation of the Historical Memory Platform took place during the event as well. A display seized by the Ukrainian defenders from the Donetsk airport in fierce battles was presented there.

"We saved this display from the invaders," one of the Donetsk airport defenders Mykola Voronin said. "I and my brothers in arms took it from the third floor of the new terminal of the airport when we went on the scout. There was a "den" of the separatists' there at that time. The guys beguiled me out of touching the dangerous find for fear of it being rigged with explosives. But somehow I realized back then that this thing would eventually be helpful.
"We managed to win the third floor from the Russian mercenaries only during our shift. By the way, it was the place we later used to harass the enemy with dense fire. And today I want this display from the Donetsk airport to become a reminder not only for us Ukrainians but also our foreign friends visiting our country that the war is near, there's no time to relax," the soldier said.
The Hero Cyborg plans to conclude a contract during the seventh wave of mobilization to dispute in arms his country again. After all, his native city of Horlivka, where he has held classes of physics and computer science, is now under the occupation of the Russian mercenaries.
