The graduation ceremony was held at the parade ground in front of the academy building in Odesa, Censor.NET reports citing Dumskaia.
There were those among the graduates who studied in Nakhimov Naval Academy in Crimea and sang Ukrainian anthem as Russian flag was being raised there in 2014. Oleksii Kharchenko, one of the graduates, who served internship in the Italian Navy, has merited the dirk of that country. Italian military attache has bestowed it to the Ukrainian cadet.
The military attache of Italy is an artilleryman, judging by the sign on his beret.
