In St. Petersburg, Russia, the members of the Other Russia [Eduard Limonov's National Bolshevik Party - ed.], known for recruiting volunteers to participate in the war in the Donbas on the side of insurgents, attacked the consulate of Ukraine.
Censor.NET reports referring to APN.Severo-Zapad.The protesters pelted the building with eggs, smoke bombs and flares. They chanted anti-Ukrainian slogans and unfurled party banners and flags of the so-called "Novorossia."
As reported, the event was held in response to an incident outside the Embassy of Russia in Kyiv.
Four people are reported to have been detained during the event. One of them is Russian citizen Andrei Vorontsov, who fought alongside militants in the Donbas.
