People's deputy Nadiia Savchenko agreed to quit the hunger strike at the request of her mother, sister, and President Petro Poroshenko.
"I've called Nadiia Savchenko and personally gave her words of support. We will do everything for the liberation of Nadiia," he wrote.
"Together with Nadiia's mother Mariia Ivanivna and her sister Vira I asked Nadiia to stop the hunger strike. Thanks for agreeing," Poroshenko added.
