Jamala awarded title of People's Artist of Ukraine

President Petro Poroshenko has awarded singer Jamala, the winner of the 2016 Eurovision song contest, the honorary title of People's Artist of Ukraine.

Censor.NET reports citing Presidential Administration press service.

"It's a fantastic victory. You've made a great number of people happy," the head of state said, handing the honorary award to Jamala.
