New patrol police officers have taken the oath in Sievierodonetsk, Lysychansk, and Rubizhne (the Luhansk region) today, May 22.
Censor.NET reports citing the department of communication of the National police.The ceremony was attended by Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov and National Police Chief Khatia Dekanoidze, as well as representatives of the regional authorities and the police.
According to the report, 149 patrol officers took the oath of allegiance to the Ukrainian people. 18 patrol crews will patrol city streets tonight.





"Tonight you will patrol the streets of your cities for the first time. From this day you will serve these people: help them when they need help and be strict when it is required. But the main thing is to ensure peace and order," Avakov stressed.
He also said that the level of confidence in the police across the country is about 44%.
