Sources in the law enforcement agencies informed Dumskaia, Censor.NET reports.
"The investigative activities are carried out within several criminal cases. One of them has been filed into the illegal refund of value added tax by officials of the Consulate General of Georgia in 2012-2013.
"According to the case files, the diplomats obtained nearly 20 million hryvnia for brand name articles and clothing they had allegedly purchased at stores in Kyiv. The investigators have visited Louis Vuitton and Prada brand shops as well as State Fiscal Service today," the statement reads.

Besides, the PGO is interested in activities of the Foundation "For benefit of Odesa," headed by former Consul General of Georgia in Ukraine Teimuraz Nishnianidze.


"This charitable foundation accumulates funds of several major Odesa entrepreneurs. A number of luxury cars were purchased at the expense of this fund. The election campaign of Sasha Borovik, governor's overseas trips, forums in regional centers of Ukraine were financed through it as well. According to the Prosecutor General's Office, all this activities are true corruption," the Odesa-based news outlet wrote.
As Regional State Administration officials reported on air of 112 Ukraine TV channel, the premises on the fifth floor of the business center were searched for half an hour. The SBU and PGO representatives read out the decision of one of Kyiv's courts. The details of the decision have not been specified.


It is also noted that the raided premises were announced a secure location.
