Famous opera singer and Right Sector fighter Wassyl Slipak, killed by a sniper in the area of anti-terrorist operation (ATO), was buried in Lviv today.
As reported by Censor.NET, a farewell ceremony was held in the Garrison Church of Sts. Peter and Paul. Thousands of people came to see the fallen hero off on his final journey. Dudaryk choir, in which Wassyl once started his musical career, performed in the church.
When the coffin was taken out, thousands of Lviv residents applauded and shouted out "Heroes never die", some people knelt.

According to journalist Tetiana Danylenko, when the procession was moving across the city to the Lychakivske Cemetery, people on balconies were weeping, cafe and shop workers took to the streets.
